Well, first of all, happy passover to you all, hope you are enjoying yourself in this time of year (i certainly know who does and who doesn't) and i want to see you all in Yom-Haatzmaout in a party that we will hold. I wish you all you ever wanted except illegal things, since they are bad. and when you are all reading "Ma Nishtana" remember that it could be worse, you could be saying "nothing". i think that most people i know evolved this year, didn't they?

Well, this is the only way i can let people know about it - I am currently in Costa-Rica, on business and other matters, and there is no reception here, actually neither Cellcom nor Orange have a roaming agreement. so for the next week or so i will be unavailable for phone calls, smss, faxes or cybersex. however, my internet connection will be available, so you can either mail or icq me. Please don't nag or spam.

Well, i sent my admissions form for my Masters (and hopefully Ph.D) to 5 universities: Oxford, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Tel Aviv and Haifa, hoping to get accepted to one of the first three, and then trying to get money to pay for it, but nevermind - i will in the end someway finance it, sell a kidney or something - you know... this concluded a month and a half in which i was detached from reality since i needed to write a seminary assignment on the right for Civil Disobedience in the extreme right in israel. if any one wants me to send him the assignment, i'd love it.

Well, besides the really needed work here, i took upon myself another job, i am going to bring tourist to israel, so i am convincing people to come to israel, my stupid act of zionism; so please give me reasons to come to israel so i can explain other people.

We wish you a merry passover, wish you a merry easter, wish you a merry pasqua, or whatever way you want to call it...
things are indeed different for me this passover in comparrison to earlier ones, and the concept of "latzet meavdut lejeyrut" is dawning on me. on the other hand, passover also marks for me memmories of death, both of family (my grandma died around this time of year) and of friends (when did you say the anniversary of Mike's Place? also, I don't know if you knew the guy, but if you did, you should know that Itai Ekstein is no more). It's tourbulent, but in the overall i think we are slowly progressing to a better world, and hope still has a home with me.

besides praising our hot weather, and reminding them of the historical sites (lowest dry land on earth, birthplace of their lord and saviour, that kinda shit), you could also point out that it's one of the safest places on earth... yeah, you heard me, one of the safest. with security guards at the entrance to each kiosk, israel has one of the lowest crime rates out there. annoying, and true for all the wrong reasons, but still true. to this you could add the fact that with the bad press the place has been getting, tour packages should be available at low low prices.
as the saying goes, meaz yatza matok...
